Frequently Asked Questions

What grade levels does PI serve?

PI accepts students in grades 6–12. In select cases, younger applicants may be reviewedindividually and considered for enrollment based on maturity and readiness.

What are the admissions criteria?

Admissions decisions take into account a combination of academic performance, athletic ability, and a brief interview with our coaching and administrative team. We seek dedicated, self-motivated students who are willing to work hard and pursue excellence both academically and athletically.

Is PI an accredited school?

PI partners with accredited academic programs to ensure students receive high-quality,customizable academic options. We help families identify a program pathway that best fits eachstudent’s learning needs and long-term goals.

What if my student needs academic support?

Students have dedicated learning time throughout the day with a full-time teacher/facilitator who provides individual tutoring and instructional support. While each student follows their own academic pathway, they all have access to personalized help to ensure academic progress and success.

How do I ensure my student is NCAA eligible?

Because most PI students aim to play at the collegiate level, our academic support team works proactively to confirm that each student is enrolled in NCAA-approved courses. Through regular check-ins, we partner with families to help students stay on track with all NCAA requirements.

What does a typical school day look like at PI?

PI operates from 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Each morning begins with academics, followed by lunch at 11:00. Training begins at 11:30. Students also participate in weekly Master Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays that focus on character development and leadership, led by the 108 staff and invited guest speakers.

Do PI students participate on a competitive team?

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, PI will field competitive baseball and softball teams that compete against other high-level academies nationwide. Until those teams and schedules are fully established, we encourage students to continue playing for their local teams.
